Check whether your torch is in lock mode:

In lock mode: if you press and hold the switch for less than a second, the red indicator under the switch will illuminate briefly to indicate that the light is still in lock mode.

Locking: when the torch is off, press and hold the side switch (for about 2 seconds) to access locking mode (the torch will first enter moonlight mode and then switch off to indicate it is in locking mode).

Unlock: To unlock it, press and hold the switch for more than a second until the moonlight mode is re-enabled. Release the button and it is now unlocked.

Generally, after the torch is fully charged, only a small amount of current is transferred when it is connected to the charger, which will not damage the battery. But we do not recommend keeping the torch connected to the charger at all times.

Most Olight torches are made to achieve the highest possible light output with the best and most powerful batteries, since light is energy, the conversion of electricity from the battery to light also releases heat. Depending on the chosen light mode, heat generation will also be higher or lower. Most heat is released in the highest or Turbo mode.

The Turbo mode is designed to give you a maximum light beam for a short time, the lamp will dim or switch back if the temperature gets too high. (point 2)

Make sure that your lamp can always release its heat when in use, never cover it during use.

When not in use or carried in a case or in your pocket, we recommend putting the lamp in the lock-out position so that it can never be accidentally switched on. This prevents risks of damage to the lamp or the environment.
